Brooklyn Heights Behavioral Associates (BHBA) is pleased to announce a great opportunity to specialize in evidence-based practices, in this full-time, one-to-two year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology. The second year provides a higher compensation and includes advanced training through institutes in evidence-based practices in the areas of interest to the fellow. This position has a flexible start date and the second year is optional. This postdoctoral psychology fellowship provides training and professional experiences leading to the fulfillment of New York State licensure as a psychologist. Applicants are required to have a PsyD, or PhD in clinical psychology, completed an APA approved internship and a limited permit to practice in NY state. BHBA is a thriving practice that specializes in evidence-based CBT and DBT services to children, adolescents and adults. This fellow will have strong risk assessment and diagnostic evaluation skills to provide intakes and coordinate new patient flow for adults, families with children, pre-teens and teens. Individual and group psychotherapy will be provided using multiple evidence-based treatments, including CBT, exposure therapy for trauma and OCD, behavioral interventions for adults, families and children, including DBT and Parent Management Training (PMT). The practice also provides Radically Open DBT and ancillary trauma modalities, such as EMDR.

The following components comprise the fellowship:

• Direct clinical work (individual and group) with psychotherapy patients
• Conduct clinical intakes for adults and families
• Weekly CBT (ExRP, PE, TF-CBT) and DBT (DBT-C, DBTA, DBT-PE, RO) training
• Weekly DBT Team Consultation meetings
• Weekly individual and group CBT/DBT and PMT supervision
• Weekly supervision of psychology extern and social work interns
• Weekly supervision and case consultation with Dr. Bellet
• Intake Consultation meetings
• In-house programming and curriculum development
• Multi-Cultural Training
